So, a few years ago my hairstylist of choice decided to pursue a different career entirely. I was frustrated by this because I had had some pretty bad experiences in the past with other salons and hairstylists. So, I chose to search on Yelp and read the reviews. This is how I ended up finding Ponytails + Horseshoes: the Yelp reviews were so awesome that I couldn’t resist, particularly given that I was planning on spending a pretty penny on a good haircut.
I have now had three haircuts there and have been very impressed with the service that I have gotten with Brent. He gave me a low maintenance style on three different occasions which has been wonderful as I really don’t want to spend too much time getting prepped for my day in the morning! In addition, I’m a big fan of the fact that they carry products that do not contain any of the compounds in them that I’m trying to avoid in my personal care products. I even love how my Renu shampoo and conditioner smells which is a wonderful way to start my day!

Timothie Hill started doing hair when he was 16. He opened his first shop when he was 25 and was invited to be apart of the fashion page for the Edmonton Journal newspaper doing makeovers and styling photo shoots, on location or at his salon.
He wrote a makeover Column in the local paper for the community where his first salon was located. He was also invited to do hair and model for fashion shoots for See magazine where he was featured several times about his chosen wardrobe and was on the cover for a fundraiser event.
There is a fictional book based on him called Timothie Hill and the cloak of power. One of his clients wrote and it was published in 2017 it is available in paper back, hard cover, or audiobook.
